Oh, this possibility makes me very, very happy. From FanHouse.com: “As the deflated home crowd filed out of Freedom Hall Tuesday night following Louisville’s 70-60 loss to No. 11 Georgetown, the public address announcer reminded the Cardinals’ faithful to return March 6 “for the final Louisville basketball game in Freedom Hall.” The Cardinals are moving from the historic 54-year old arena to a new downtown facility next season and there are all sorts of ceremonies planned for UL’s final game in Freedom Hall against Syracuse on March 6. There’s only one small problem — it might not necessarily be UL’s last appearance in what former coach Denny Crum calls “the old barn.”
