When Patrick Patterson introduced his mother, Tywanna, to freshman DeMarcus Cousins, he called her “Mother Teresa” because of her generous personality. “He sometimes introduces me that way because he says I am always trying to help other people,” she said. “It's flattering and sweet of Patrick to say that. I hope that's why so many people respect him. He makes you feel comfortable when he communicates with you. “He's really good with recruits because he's been in their shoes and understands what lies ahead for him. That has helped make him a great ambassador for Kentucky basketball.”
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
