Kentucky recruit Brandon Knight named to Parade Magazine All-American team

Pine Crest's two-time Gatorade National Player of the year Brandon Knight has been selected to the Parade Magazine All-American team.  Knight, a 6-4 guard, was joined on the first team by Ohio State signee 6-9 Jared Sullinger (Parade Player of the Year and Naismith Player of the Year) and North Carolina recruit Harrison Barnes (Morgan Wootten Player of the Year).  It is the latest in a long list of honors for Knight, who will play on the West team at the McDonald's All-American game in Columbus (Ohio) on March 31.  Ranked No. 1 in the 2010 class by Rivals.com, Knight was a repeat winner for Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Basketball and Florida Gatorade Boys Player of the Year.  He was also named to the Jordan Classic All-American team and averaged 31.9 points and 8.6 rebounds to lead Pine Crest (25-5) to the Class 3A state championship game.  The five-star guard and two-time state champion is expected to make a public announcement on his college future following the McDonald's game.
