Rick Bozich of the Louisville Courier-Journal is reporting that Padgett will be announcing as early as next week that he’ll be taking an assistant coaching position with Manhattan. From Rick: “Former Kentucky basketball star Scott Padgett joined with John Calipari a year ago to get some coaching experience so he could make a move into the college game. Padgett was essentially a coach in training who also had some responsibilities with conditioning.”
