University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari will be the featured speaker celebrating Henderson Community College’s 50th anniversary on Sept. 17. The event will benefit the Colonels 2 College scholarship program, which gives scholarships to Henderson Community College for Henderson County High School graduates who sign up as freshmen and maintain a good standing with the program. The first class to benefit will be the class of 2013.
