Future Kentucky Wildcat Michael Gilchrist led St. Patrick (NJ) to a 69-67 win over Milton (Ga.) in the championship game of the City of Palms Classic. He was awarded tournament MVP for his performance in the event. In the championship game, Gilchrist had 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale was on hand to watch Gilchrist’s performance. Gilchrist’s teammate Jarrel Lane hit a three-pointer at the buzzer for the win.
