Tracy McGrady and Tayshaun Prince each scored 20 points to help the Detroit Pistons to a 103-96 victory Monday night against the host Orlando Magic. The Pistons scored 26 points off 16 Orlando turnovers and shot 50 percent from 3-point range to earn their first victory of the season against the Magic. Rodney Stuckey and Ben Gordon added 16 points apiece for Detroit. Orlando got 21 points off the bench from Ryan Anderson and 20 points and 16 rebounds from Dwight Howard.
