The mercenaries come and go like modern-day bounty hunters: Tyreke Evans and Derrick Rose and John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins and on and on. It’s a double-edged win for the Kentucky coach: He can woo the best high school kids by promising he won’t hold them back. If they don’t produce big trophies, Calipari can shrug and blame it on inexperience.
