UK head coach John Calipari told ESPN that should the SEC choose to expand again, it should target Virginia Tech, Maryland and Missouri. Calipari has long said that he thinks conferences will expand to 16 or 18 superconferences. After the recent addition of Texas A&M, which Calipari lauded as a good move for the conference, the SEC is now at 13 teams.
