Former Cat Tayshaun Prince providing the ‘calming’ veteran presence for Pistons

Yes, he is both a valuable link to a championship past, and a versatile small forward with a few years left.  But Prince also represented an aging link to the mutiny-shortened John Kuester coaching era and, many thought, not necessarily the best vestige from those six consecutive Eastern Conference Finals appearances to keep as a veteran cornerstone on a rebuilding team.
