Today the SEC announced it's 2nd Annual “Blue Ribbon” All-SEC awards. Anthony Davis wiped the glass so to speak and was named Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. It goes without saying but he was also named All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Freshman Team. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was recognized by being named to the All-SEC 2nd Team, All-Defensive Team and All-SEC Freshman Team. Darius Miller was named Sixth Man of the Year and John Calipari was named SEC Co-Coach of the Year. Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb were named All-SEC 2nd Team. In all, five players and Calipari were honored by the league as voted on by the 12 coaches. It marks a school-record for the most honors in a single-season in UK allure.
