New Orleans Hornets rookie power forward Anthony Davis' sprained left ankle may not prevent him from playing in the team's Las Vegas Summer League opener this Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Hornets General Manager Dell Demps said Davis' ankle continues to respond well to treatment and the Hornets officially list him as probable to play on Sunday. “His ankle is a lot better right now,'' Demps said. “I don't want to say 100 percent. Our medical staff and doctor are out there working with him.''
