John Calipari and his coaching staff went “three-deep” for Trey Lyles’ open gym Monday in Indianapolis. Rivals.com’s Jeff Rabjohns tweeted that Calipari and assistants Orlando Antigua and Kenny Payne were all in attendance for the afternoon shootaround. Duke, Georgetown, Michigan State, Butler and Stanford were among the other schools that dropped by Lyles’ high school Monday. Rabjohns later tweeted that UK had offered Lyles a scholarship. Lyles is a 6-foot-9 forward who’s ranked in the top 10 in the class of 2014 by Rivals, Scout, ESPN and 24/7 Sports. He recently decommitted from Indiana after pledging to his home-state school early in his high school career. UK, along with North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse and the other usual suspects, have since shown interest.
