The 6-foot-4 ½, 198-pound freshman shooting guard averaged 28 points and eight rebounds last season for at Sylvan Hills High School in Little Rock, Ark. He led that team to last year's Class 5A Arkansas state championship, the school's first. He dropped 27 points, including four 3-pointers, in the title game. Goodwin, a noted dunking enthusiast, was at two-time Mr. Basketball in Arkansas. He was also a Parade and McDonald's All-American, rated a consensus top-five shooting guard and top-15 overall prospect nationally in the Class of 2012.
