There's a new big guy in town, and he's got the Hornets all abuzz: Anthony Davis, the No. 1 pick in June's draft, will make his debut in one of the most highly anticipated rookie unveilings of the past few years. From the get-go, Davis could be one of the league's best defenders. As a freshman at Kentucky, he showed tremendous defensive instincts, averaging 4.7 blocked shots and 10.4 rebounds. He will need some polish and shine to get used to defending NBA big men, and the Hornets have some positional questions to answer, but Davis is fundamentally sound and will be an impact player. Offensively, he has some ability but is still raw, though having spent the summer with Team USA in the Olympics should have accelerated his development.
