After a week-long hiatus, Kentucky returns to the floor on Saturday playing host to Lipscomb in Rupp Arena. UK has captured two-straight wins heading into the matchup with the Bisons.
Freshmen Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress both logged 15 points in a win over Portland in UK’s last action. Goodwin continued his stretch of games with four or more assists running the streak to six-straight. Sophomore Ryan Harrow provided a spark for UK with season-highs in points (8), assists (6) and rebounds (4).
Lipscomb enters the matchup with a 4-4 overall record, but the Bisons are coming off an 86-62 win over UT Martin in their last action. Saturday’s meeting will mark just the second in program history. UK earned a 67-49 win in 2005 in the only other contest.
