Playing point guard in the  can be a lonely job. There’s no manual to follow, but one must fill the role of a leader, even when one is having performing the duties adequately.

But Pistons point guard doesn’t believe his turnovers and recent shooting slump will have a lasting effect. Some of the NBA’s most aggressive players lead the league in turning the ball over, and most of them are in the same boat as Knight, learning the pro game on the fly.

“I think the biggest thing is you always have the ball in your hands,” Knight said. “You’re trying to be aggressive. You’ll make mistakes when constantly attacking the basket, trying to make plays, get guys shots.”
