Tyus Jones, the top point guard in the Class of 2014, will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this weekend. “Yes, leaves Friday,” Zach Goring, Jones’s high school coach at Apple Valley (MN), told SNY.tv. Kentucky hosts Texas A&M Saturday at 4 p.m.
Goring said Jones has no other visits scheduled at the moment.
Writing in his USA Today blog in October, Jones said after visiting Duke and North Carolina: “I’ll probably try and get out to Kentucky and Kansas next because I’ve never been to those schools.”
