Road struggles have plagued the Kentucky Wildcats this season. On Jan. 19 at Auburn, the Wildcats had no such struggle, something that is a good sign moving forward. Kentucky dominated on the road for the first time all year. This road win must be improved upon for SEC play, but more importantly, for the NCAA tournament.
It has been a rough start to the season for the now 12-5 (3-1) Kentucky Wildcats. The year has been filled with lows, one of the lowest being on Jan. 12. Kentucky lost to Texas A&M at home, 83-71.
After that game, it was a very real possibility that the Wildcats could miss the NCAA tournament for the first time under head coach John Calipari.
