Brandon Knight suffers sprained ankle

probably would like to start this week over. After watching his name become fodder for TV pundits and social media because he was victimized by Clippers center DeAndre Jordan’s violent dunk, Knight had to leave tonight’s game against the Jazz after injuring his left ankle.

The injury occurred at the 8:28 mark of the first quarter. Knight tried to drive to the basket against the defense of Jazz guard Randy Foye when he took an awkward step on the ankle.

He immediately fell to the floor, clutching the ankle. After receiving aid on the floor, he was helped to the locker room, but he couldn’t put weight on the ankle.
