Rajon Rondo's absence continued to take its toll on Boston. All the emotion in the world couldn't help the overmatched Celtics. On a night when they honored the heroes from that terrible day on Boylston Street 11 days ago, and remembered the victims of the attack that wounded this great city, the Knicks still had more than enough to dominate the Celtics and deal with almost everything that was thrown at them.
That's what good teams do when they have to go on the road in the playoffs, and now the Knicks are one victory from winning a playoff series for the first time since 2000. After their 90-76 win at TD Garden, it would be a great surprise if they don't close out this series on Sunday.
