For Trey Lyles, the end of the recruiting process is finally on the horizon.
Lyles, a 6-10 senior-to-be at Tech High School in Indianapolis, said this week he plans on having a college decision made in time for the early signing period in November.
Last week Lyles cut his list to four schools: Butler, Florida, Kentucky and Louisville, dropping UCLA and Duke
“The next step is taking my official visits, which I haven't set up yet,” said Lyles, who is ranked No. 5 in the 2014 class by Rivals.com . “I'm just waiting to take my officials and then whoever is the one will separate themselves then.”
Much of the speculation around Lyles' recruitment is that it will come down to a battle between Louisville and Kentucky.
