John Calipari knew his words were falling on deaf ears.
For all the downplaying he did about this being a revenge game for Kentucky's loss to Robert Morris in the first round of the NIT last season, he understood the fans weren't having any of it.
“Our fans didn't want to hear what I had to say,” Calipari said. “They're like, ‘No, we want to smash these guys.' ”
Aaron Harrison took advantage of some open looks from the outside to score a career-high 28 points and the top-ranked Wildcats (3-1) limited Robert Morris to 23.2 percent shooting as their Wildcats atoned for last year's season-ending defeat with an 87-49 rout of the Colonials.
