This time last year, the Wildcats were fresh off a four-point loss loss to in Champions Classic.

UK, the No. 1 team coming into last year’s season too, started four freshmen and one sophomore against the No. 2 Spartans.

The opposing team’s starting lineup: two seniors, a junior and two sophomores.

My, oh my, how the tables have turned.

Against a fifth-ranked team, the Cats started a pair of juniors, a pair of sophomores and a single freshman on the first platoon. On the second, two sophomores and three freshmen.
