After sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the first round, the Miami Heat took out the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in five games to reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2014.
That has been, in part, thanks to a career season from third-year big man Bam Adebayo.
Adebayo averaged career-highs in points (15.9), rebounds (10.2), assists (5.1), blocks (1.3), steals (1.1), and minutes (33.6) while starting all 72 regular games this season in helping lead the Heat to a 44-29 record and first place in the Eastern Conference Southeast Division.
He also made history in becoming the second-youngest player in NBA history to average 15+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists in a season behind only Oscar Robertson in 1961-62.
