Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is so hot right now that even when an opponent hits the ball out of his hands, it finds a way to go in.
The third-year Oklahoma City Thunder guard made one of the weirdest layups you'll see against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. As he drove, the ball appeared to be blocked by Carmelo Anthony, and Gilgeous-Alexander tried to reach behind himself to regain control.
The ball wasn't behind him. It was high in the air. It arched down into the basket.
😱 SGA just smells that basket.
